March 3,2011 FB Tweet Temp 3 03 March 2011 The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) has published the results of its 2010 Community Recycling Survey that shows 87% of the population has access to curbside and/or drop-off paper and paperboard recycling programs. According to the association, access was an important factor in helping the industry exceed its 60% recovery goal three years ahead of schedule with a record-high 63.4% of the paper used in the U.S.
